Who we are
Siyahi is an architecture and design studio based in Mangalore and Bangalore, founded by Ar. Avanthi Amarnath. The practice offers services in architecture, interior design, and landscape design, creating spaces that respond thoughtfully to their context and the way people live.
As a boutique studio, Siyahi takes a collaborative and hands-on approach to design. Each project begins with understanding the site and the client’s aspirations, allowing ideas to evolve through careful planning, design development, and coordination with consultants and craftsmen. The studio aims to create spaces that are simple, well-crafted, and enduring, where thoughtful design enhances everyday living.
Ar. Avanthi Amarnath is a young architect and the founder of Siyahi. She graduated from the Ramaiah School of Architecture and has gained professional experience working with architecture firms in Mangalore, Bangalore, and Goa. Through her work across different contexts, she has developed an approach to design that values thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and a sensitivity to place and material.
